Born in the Big D, Frank has a knack for analogies and puns in addition to drawing and building. Frank and Greg met at UT School of Architecture and have collaborated on as many projects together as possible. Whether its a floor plan, rendering, napkin sketch, custom fence, party invite, house or food trailer with robotic service (pet project) Frank prefers to create at the intersection of design and construction.
Sr. Designer + Sr. Construction Manager
A native Carolinian, Maggie came to Texas for her Masters in Architecture at UT Austin and pickled jalepenos. She is incredibly talented and easily switches between her two roles as Designer and Builder on a variety of projects. Her attention to detail and creativity come through at every level – putting pen to paper, making a model, working on site with a reclaimed material or updating a client on progress – How can one person do it all? Simply ask Maggie. Or ask her to tell you while flipping a tire!?!?

Amber came to Moontower looking for a change – we were the Goldilocks company, just right! Moontower had the right balance of build to design and a down to earth approach that reflects her own personality: inquisitive, fun, dedicated and respectful. Learning neighborhoods by name and organizing working drawings and desktops with equal zeal are making her an invaluable part of the Moontower team.
Interior Design + Site Management Support
Lindsey and Moontower started collaborating in 2013 on a project by project basis. Her interior design knowledge akin to the deepest cuts on your favorite albums has become a very catchy skill for our team and our clients. She is also very charming and hilarious – so we are happy to present her as part of the Moontower assemblage!
Greg, is a descendent of the only Mexican defender of the Alamo. He started his career in Austin’s non-profit community, organizing events to raise awareness for affordable housing, the master plan of Austin, and most recently the Hope Farmer’s Market in East Austin. Now Greg is participating at all parts in the design build process – initial site visits, estimating, design, business administration and project management.

Mark found Moontower in a Tribeza article when considering a move to Austin after getting his masters in Architecture from Virginia Tech after his undergraduate degree in Architecture from Texas A&M. Mark approaches design with a real world interest in construction and is using his strength and background in architecture to lend a designer’s eye to project management as well. Mark has embraced the hands on aspect of his job (he might custom fabricate something for you!)
Chase, a Texan from McAllen, is an artist and was a Prince of Produce in a former life. Chase provides a lot of comic relief in addition to expanding his renaissance approach to learning as many aspects of construction as possible to provide invaluable on site assistance across Moontower project locations. His background in painting and homeownership have allowed him to learn the art of construction quickly.
Jessica recently graduated from the University of Texas School of Architecture’s undergrad program. She has had a diverse internship experience in Houston and Stutgart Germany. Her skills as a visual artist and her eager, respectful and enthusiastic approach to the Design Build model will be invaluable as she grows with Moontower.
Jeff, a Houston native, came to Moontower looking for a new career in Austin. He and Frank first worked together framing a roof in Westlake – a great way to orient oneself to the Austin skyline. Jeff uses his degree in Biochemistry from Rice University on a daily basis, making the rest of us feel a little less tenacious and intelligent when he waxes poetic about viscosity and lubricating our nail guns.
General Build Foreman
Jeff, the resident fishing and construction specialist, relocated to Austin from Seattle. His “nobody’s a stranger” attitude and positive construction site charm have found a happy home in the friendly state. Jeff’s years in the Northwest working on large commercial projects and extremely high end trim and residential jobs provide a rich build expertise to support the Moontower Construction endeavors. You can find Jeff at numerous job sites through the course of the year boosting our quality control.
Patrick came to Moontower with a passion for his craft as an Architect and an aspiration to get closer to the build process – joining a firm capable of both design and construction production under one roof is becoming the most inspiring phase of a very productive career. Patrick and Frank worked together for a few years across a broad scale of projects. Patrick’s extensive residential experience and commitment to urbanism and material durability research are a great resource for Moontower clients and the team.
The Moontower Origin Story
Late night studio breaks at the Texas Showdown up the street from the School of Architecture and taking in panoramic views while framing Architect, Jim Thompson’s roof are moments where the Moontower story begins. The relationships and ideas that generated the Moontower way were formed through work, play and a common aspiration, to create a company committed to making Austin a better place one piece at a time.
