Our clients came to us with a charming home in historic Old Enfield and asked us to help them make it a family home. With a baby on the way, they knew they needed more space than the original 2/2 could provide and a remodel was long overdue to reconfigure the tight and suffocating living, kitchen, and dining room layout. We worked with our clients to address the existing problems of the home, replacing the exterior siding, sheering up the foundation and addressing some long overdue maintenance while transforming the home for modern family living. Key to the interior transformation was opening up the maze of public spaces into a welcoming open floor plan with room to breathe.  The one story addition was situated at the rear of the building, home to a new glamorous primary suite utilizing a few of the existing plumbing locations while expanding the room count to a more family friendly 3/2.
