We consider it a gift from the universe when repeat clients trust us enough to work together on multiple home transformations. Nick and Stephanie moved to west Austin from the east side of town, downsizing into a 920 sf historic home oozing with potential and quickly took on the first phase of a two stage project. In phase  one we prioritized the living and shared areas while upgrading the bedroom and bathroom wing. Special attention was paid to reworking the exterior walls to avoid trapping moisture while keeping the original stone.  The phase two addition will add a primary suite, office, and laundry area. We took the home down to the studs while preserving the historical facade and stonework, introduced vaulting, and complemented the historic home with a palate of classical materials to accentuate the charm and style direction Stephanie shared with the Moontower team as inspiration.
